I've been recently blessed with some more pictures of my Chinese Princess...YAYYYY for the Treanor family!!!!!!!!!!!
As we are almost to the "count the days down stage" these little gifts from our sweet Savior make each day easier to get through. It's becoming so real for all of us this week. I don't exactly why but my heart tells me...get ready mom, mommy, momma...prepare for your daughter's arrival.
Cecilia is talking about her sister nonstop to whoever will listen. If there's a chance you might see her lately...be prepared to get your ear talked off and see our Alicia album of pics. Every day this girl is making some new art creation for her. When I was tucking her into bed tonight she showed me today's drawing. Maybe I should post pics of her creations...HMMMM I will have to work on getting that posted for all you artistic folk out there...OK stay tuned for a "Cecilia's art" posting in the next days to come.
Konrad, well Konrad is Konrad. He looks at her pictures next to his bed every night and asks how much longer til he gets to have two sisters. I tell him, "I don't know you will have to take that up with God sweetheart. It's all in His timing...His perfect timing." The cutest new thing that he's doing is obsessively checking the mailbox 5 and 6 times a day. When the mail is in the box he quickly pulls all of it out and starts searching for ANYTHING that looks like an envelope that could have passports enclosed. Yes for those of you that don't know we are planning on taking the kidos with us to China. As long as all finances go well they will be flying with us to that continent named Asia.
Eric and I are just stinking excited and find ourselves looking at each other and saying, "Guess what? were going to China. It's so close now we can almost start counting the days." and then we both start laughing. We have to be the goofiest couple that God has ever created. I can see Him now looking down at us and saying, "Look at those silly Treanors. There they go again acting all goofy."
Well I think I did state in the beginning of this email that he, he ...I HAVE NEW PICS OF MY PRINCESS.....WAAAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! And so here she is our Alicia....
Alicia on left with Uncle Michael and friend Kate
Alicia on Left with her friend Emily
Alicia (in front) with good friend Ginger (who now lives in Atlanta with twin sister Maggie..oooww so close YES!!)

3 Weeks Out Now
today we are 3 weeks out from when we received our LOA (acceptance from China). we don't know how much longer it will be before they send our traveling arrangements but we are praying it is REAL soon. she's been on my mind so much these last weeks. we are getting soooooo close to being able to see her, hold her, and hopefully hear her call me "mom" i can almost taste it. every morning i wake and i feel my heart beating a little faster, just a little stronger and then i remember... WOW.... i'm one day closer to calling her "my daughter." thank you Jesus for this beautiful gift.
so with all these tender hearted moments going on with me, we decided to celebrate this 3 week mark by going to get alicia's bed today. dumby me didn't remember to take the camera with me...bad mommy ...so you will have to wait til we put it together for me to show pics. we finally decided and luckily found a bed just like cecilia's so now the girls can be matchie mathchie little twins. when all is finished with the construction on the girl's room i will take some good pics and post them for all to see...

I'm Susan Again (Suzie)
Today we made MANY attempts to get someone on the phone at vital records with no success. So instead of having a well orgaized, incredibly knowledge learning school day with my kids we all packed up in the car and made the drive to downtown Nashville to get the name issue resolved.
Can I tell you that they aren't the most organized or hardworking people I've ever encountered. It's no wonder we couldn't get anyone on the phone...they would rather stand around talking about other women's cooking skills (or lack there of). Eric, the kids, and I patiantly waited for them to get their act together and finnaly I was awarded back my birth name....Susan Anne Greene (Treanor)mother of Vincent Konrad Treanor. Next stop now....post office.
Arrived at the post office to be greeted by an incredibly nice and very funny passport worker man. He called the kids up to the counter and started playing it up with them. Cracking jokes about needing a drivers license, asking them how many times they've been married, and have they commited any fealonies. After the questions were finished and the kids pulled their jaws off the floor (from being shoked by the crazy man) they were sworn in and the passport apps where sent on their way.....YAAAAAAAY!!!! The kids will never forget that experience thanks to a man with a great heart who took the time to make them feel special. It's nice to know that there are still some fun loving people out there that get it when it comes to making things special for kids.... God bless the passport worker man and thank you Jesus for having him there for our kids....

My Name is Now Usan
Every day this week has been well lets say an adventure in getting to places, trying to get a good school day completed, or working on my 2nd job... adoption paperwork.
Yesterday was no different when it came to a day of purely chasing my tail.
If you don't already know, Eric and I have decided (if money allows) to take our kidos with us to China. With this being sad we now have to hurry up and get their passports right?...right!! OK here's where I share with you about why I'm changing my name to Usan. I am unable to find Konrad's birth certificate so I had to go down to the health department to get a copy. This sounds like an easy errand to accomplish right?....WRONG!!!!! When we arrived there it was POURING POURING rain to begin with. Needless to say Konrad and I had a challenge of trying to avoid puddles, running through the parking lot, seeing that the entire parking lot was one BIG puddle. We made some fun out of it and splashed through the inches of water...WEEEEEEE!!! We arrived in the building to be greeted by some very nice people at the front desk who told me that they could have his birth certificate ready for me in a matter of minutes. WOW I thought. This is going to be easy and we can get the passports with no problem.... WRONG!!!! Just a few minutes later the kind lady calls me up and as I'm pulling my money out to pay her she asks, "How do you pronounce your first name?" I thought this was an odd question seeing that my name is simple, so I replied with the answer...Susan. She looked at me oddly and said, "It is stated on your son's birth certificate Usan not Susan." All I could think of at this moment was "here goes Satan working his schemes again." This very kind lady went to make a few phone calls, to see what she could do for me, to only find out that I have to make an appeal on this manner. She gave me the number for me to call to find out how to get it changed and we left empty handed to then go run back through the puddles to the car. We came straight home and I got right onto the phone to be hung up on several times due to phone problems in their department (honestly I think it was it's Friday and the end of the day phone issue). Anyway, when I did finally get through to someone I was told that the lady that deals with this issue was out of the office and will return on Monday....UUGH!!!
Well I started thinking (dangerous thing for me to be doing) the way I figure it it would probably just be easier to stick with this new name that, without my knowledge, was given to me over 9 years ago.....so until further notice I will be dropping a letter from my name and be going by Usan instead of Susan. Well at least it's less writing for me....

13th Wedding Anniversary!!!!!!!!!
Today there is no new news on our journey of "Bringing Home our Princess". We predict that we will be waiting for 6-8 weeks for a TA (travel approval).
With no news to report on our adoption I will make my post about the specialness (my invented word)of this day to me. 13 years ago today my sweet, adorable, silly, honorable, and handsome husband and I got married, hitched, tied the note, took the plunge. WOOOOWW 13 years!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every year it gets harder to believe that we have been together for so long. Where has the time gone? It seems like a week ago we were getting married and yesterday we were becoming parents. The reality is though that today I can say that I've lived out and journeyed through 13 years with an amazing man that loves and adores me greatly. He has to love and adore me to have put up with all the stuff I've thrown at him over these years. He's a truly incredible man and I'm a truly blessed woman to be able to call him my husband, my best friend, my confidant, my soul mate, the lover of my soul.
Thank you Eric for loving me, caring for me and giving me two almost three beautiful children. I love you more and more every day and I can't thank you enough for making me your earthly bride. I look forward to growing really old with you so we can sit around staring at each other and laughing at how wrinkled and saggy we've become...He, He, He... I do really love you and look forward to cherishing the next 365 days together. CHEERS BABY....

THE DOCUMENT ARRIVED!!!!
Our Letter of Confirmation or Letter of Acceptance (LOA) arrived at exactly 2:08 today via UPS man who was very patient with an extremely excited adoptive mother and posed for this memorable pic....
I had a very dear friend tell me yesterday that it is a very beautiful document....WOOW was she correct. There's nothing more beautiful then to finally see an official document listing your name and your adoptive daughters name together. It really helps to make this journey we are on so real and tangible....
Check out what beauty is created when you accept to receive a tremendous blessing from our Father...
